Candidate Information and Registration

Candidates who want to register can sign in to their VLCF Symplicity Account HERE.

Format: The VLCF will have a designated time period for scheduled interviews in the afternoon following the networking career fair.

  • Interview with up to 6 Employers between 2:00 – 5:00 pm
  • Keynote address, panel, concurrent sessions, and Career Fair are from 8:30 am –2:00 pm

Who can participate as a candidate/job seeker? Any attorney who has served, or is currently serving, in any branch of the United States Armed Services or Reserves in any capacity can participate. Military spouses who are lawyers are also welcome to participate. There is no charge for candidates to participate in any portion of the event.

Details: Registration and administration of the VLCF is handled through an internet-based system called Symplicity—the same software used by most law schools to manage their interview programs. You will create an account with a username and password and upload your resume to your profile. Some employers may request a law school transcript, writing sample or other documentation which you can add at any time. You’ll have a chance to review materials from each participating employer and place “bids” on interviews at the VLCF. Employers will review your materials and may select you for an interview spot, but regardless, you’ll have a chance to speak with all employers during the open networking portion of the career fair.

Attire: Civilian business attire is recommended for the career fair and interview program.
